Job summary:
Summary of essential job functions
Deck hands are responsible for the cleaning and routine maintenance of the passenger areas as well ensuring that passengers are provided with all amenities available aboard the vessel. This includes setting of dining tables, teardown and stowage of materials, and ensuring that passengers are acting in a safe manner aboard the vessel.
Deck hands are to report to the vessel a minimum of one hour prior to departure or earlier if requested by the Senior Deck Hand. Deck hands will remain on board the vessel during the voyage and interface with passengers ensuring that passenger comforts are taken care of in a exemplary fashion.

COMPENSATION
- Vessel deckhand is a hourly wage position per agreement with Empire Cruise Lines.
- In accordance with maritime traditions all tips are pooled and split among all crew members and Captain.
